Why talk about the name, does it matter that much?
In this case it is essentially all that matters. The name of this company means everything, about who we are, what we stand for and why we are doing it at all.
It’s YOU that matters. YOU the creative, YOU the client. YOU the individual looking for inspiration to get your motivation, or confidence, or creativity, or business moving, YOU the business looking for help with your identity or raising your game or challenging your market with a bold new idea or approach.
That’s why the name Staff Design Company matters.

Because we are all colleagues. And we are about people.
This started as an idea to build something that could help resolve some of the issues that I’ve experienced or witnessed over the years of working in the creative, business and third sector industries.
There is a laundry list of symptoms I’ve been inspired to target, but the key responses include; struggling to gain experience, learn how to find and use my voice, seeing myself and others being treated poorly both in remuneration and wellbeing terms and watching people misuse, misunderstand, and disregard the power of creativity.

Every agency talks about how different they are, how ‘fresh’ their approach is, and while “agency'' is the easiest term to place on what we are, the punk in us will resist pigeon holing forever. Frankly SDC is aiming to be something else, a place for growth and development both of ourselves, our team and our partners, a place where everyone gets equal share of the praise, work, celebration and creativity.
As a client whether your project is huge or tiny, regardless of your financial or time budgets, at SDC we can’t help ourselves but give you far more than you expected - even if it’s just a bloody good experience.
As a member of Staff we pledge to make sure that your creativity is maximised, that your confidence is boosted, time well spent and your needs are put before those of profit and no mercenary behaviour will be tolerated. This Company is for everyone, new to the game or long in the tooth, our only discrimination is determining what works creatively.
